This homemade stir fry sauce is easy to make in 5 minutes using basic ingredients! Sweet, savory, and tangy, it'll help you whip up a delicious stir fry for dinner on any night of the week. Recipe makes about 1 cup sauce.
Ingredients
½cupwater
⅓cuplow-sodium soy sauce*
1tablespoonhoney or brown sugar
1tablespoonrice vinegar
2teaspoonstoasted sesame oil
2garlic cloves, grated
2teaspoonsgrated fresh ginger
1tablespooncornstarch
½teaspoonred pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the water, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes, if using.
Use in any stir fry, cooking over medium-high heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
