Oh my gosh in anything…but lately I’m loving a mixture of wild mushrooms sauteed with butter, white wine, and thyme, spread on slices of baguette for the best crostini ever.

Mushrooms are one of my favorite ingredients, and I believe they are best when prepared simply — Roasted in the oven with extra virgin olive oil, butter, garlic, capers, and fresh herbs. Then eaten right out of the pan with crusty bread. YUM.

I love to saute button mushrooms with a bit of butter, salt, pepper and fresh herbs. I add the mushrooms to any other main dish as a delicious side full of umami.
