On mother’s day I would love to have dinner with my two boys and their wives.
I would love someone to make me a flourless chocolate cake with espresso in it for mother’s day!
I’m making my mom’s favorite coconut cake for Mother’s Day. Yummm!
I am definitely making a cake. Not sure of the timing of the meal, whether it’s brunch or dinner so the menu is up in the air. It’ll be interesting no matter what it is.
I’m bringing Thai Cashew Rice salad for our Mothers Day barbeque
My two boys are still young (6 & 4), so I would be happy with just about anything they are able to make! Even a peanut butter and honey sandwich would be perfect 🙂
Shrimp and grits! The grits are infused with gouda and the shrimp are sauteed in chili oil and placed atop with fresh sweet corn and chives, drizzled with more chili oil, topped with two eggs over easy…Yum! PS- I LOVE your books and your blog and I’d really like to win this set! 🙂
“I only have i & 2 fur babies.they all have issues

I’m thinking a DIY edible arrangement! That and/or chocolate covered candied orange slices.
I bought my mom a handmade neck wrap from the Iowa City farmer’s market. It smells like lavender, and she can heat it up to help heal her neck.
P.s. I LOVE the new cookbook!! I am a college student, and it’s nice to be able to prepare meals that are healthy and exciting, even with a busy schedule. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙂
Oh, I almost forgot! I’m also going to make Jack’s Garlic Pretzel Knots to wipe up all the extra gravy and as a makeshift fork to eat the lovely Broccoli Raab with! You gotta have bread to unceramoniusly sop up the SUGO!! It’s an Italian law, according to my Dad, rest his soul. ❤️
the most decadent chocolate chip cookies!
And i am a follower on instagram – @Craygrrr
I’ll be making a Mother’s Day brunch for my sister (who is a mom) and my mom 🙂 – Probably will include some bacon and chocolate (though not together… one day I’ll try it…maybe).
will be making strawberry rhubarb oatmeal crumble!
Chilli. My wife loves it.
Unfortunately I will be celebrating Mother’s Day at a soccer tournament. I would love for someone to make me a big, doughy cinnamon roll with just a touch of cream cheese icing. But at this point, I’ll take anything I don’t have to make. 🙂
My mother is 96 years old, she has dementia & usually thinks I’m HER mother, or just some nice lady that takes care of her.
As usual, I will be making her a favorite meal.
We are Italian, all the wonderful things I cook were learned from her, my Zia Rita & both of my grandmother’s, who were born in Italy & all of whom passed many years ago.
They were all wonderful cooks & as most older Italian women, didn’t write down recipes & those they did were usually vague or missing ingredients or steps!
Lucky for me I paid close attention to how they did things & subsequently became a pretty good cook in my own right, if I may say so myself, LOL!
That being said, I will be making her homemade gnocchi with my famous gravy. (Famous in my family at least! Lol!) Our entire family & extended family calls it GRAVY, not Sauce! Sauteed Broccoli Raab with Garlic & a fresh, colorful salad. For desert, I’m making a Lemon Olive Oil Pistachio Cake from L&LE.
I’m going to drop some hints to my daughter that I’d love some Strawberry Baked French Toast also from my L& LE cook book! Worst case scenario, I’ll make it for her, and have my grandbabies help with the preparation!
This will be a lovely, lemon-filled Mother’s Day! ❤️
