I think I will feed my sourdough starter May that’s two years old now and bake up a loaf of whole wheat blue cheese and walnut sourdough. My mom and I both love it! We used to both buy these blue chees and walnut rolls that were so good toasted with butter but the local bakery that made them burned down and I spent alot of time trying to find a recipe until finally I just created one.

I’m making Chinese Dumplings… like the Dim Sum you’d order in a restaurant.

However! While most of the ingredients will be pretty typical, I’m substituting seasoned brisket for the standard pork.

I’m excited to see how they turn out!

Haven’t decided what I’m making. We will be celebrating mothers day, but also my mother in laws birthday. Usually for mothers day my husband cooks, so it’s either BBQ or he makes reservations?. Either way, I appreciate not having to cook. However, I would love it if someone made me a tart strawberry rhubarb pie with a flaky buttery crust and streusel topping 🙂

I love to make pavlova for Mother’s Day because it looks so elegant, fresh, and springy with the addition of berries and herbs.

My first mother’s day! New mom to beautiful twin girls. My husband and I LOVE to cook and it’s over of the few things we still make time to do together everyday. I haven’t decided what we will be making on mother’s day yet but I certainly love my Lindy style New York Cheesecake, Baghali Polo with Lamb (a Persian dish featuring an aromatic rice with dill and fava beans, and the lamb is prepared like a stew so the meat just falls right off the bone, and the bone marrow slides right out of the bones) , I’ll probably also prepare a delicious breakfast scramble loaded with fresh veggies. I’m already thinking about all the fabulous meals from “Love &Lemons” I can try with the staub cookware. We are also about 3 weeks away from totally gutting our kitchen and dining room, to make a kitchen that’s more suitable for how much we cook. I hope I can add these beautiful pieces to my new kitchen ?
