I’m going to make blueberry lemon scones to bring to brunch at my sister’s.
If my mom were with me to celebrate, I’d be making a roullade with fresh berries, whipped cream, and slivered almonds. Perhaps I’ll make one anyway, in her honor, and send her a picture of me enjoying it 🙂
On Sunday, I’ll be making gluten free/sugar free baked oatmeal with berries. Yum!
Making grilled pork heirloom chops with a shitake mushroom sauce.
I am making my wife the only thing she wants for mother’s day. The only thing she ever wants is a tres leches cake. She is from Mexico and it reminds her of being home with her own mother.
Thank you for reminding me, it’s a definite day that I get to pick!…I will be putting my requests in…which is always something ‘new’ but yet simplistic for the boys in my life to handle… Chickpea Shawarma Wraps look like a winner!
I’d love to have grilled veggies and rice.
I’m making lemon bars.
Banana Bread!
Eggs Benedict ?
For mother’s day, I’m hoping to make mouths water (and not eyes–as I did with the most recent batch of sauerkraut that smelled like old cheese) by making my first loaf of sourdough bread–with the starter and tools my mom gave me as a birthday present!
Bacon with Brioche French toast with a lot of warm honey syrup
Anything rhubarb!
I’m going to make shrimp scampi and roasted brussel sprouts. Two of my wife’s (and mother of our boys) favorite things.
Vegetarian lasagna is delicious and it’s time for more !
Scones for sure. We are senior citizens who have recently moved ourselves back into town to be closer to our four grandchildren. It has been exhausting. I am finally settling down into a routine, trying to remember where I put all my kitchen items. This giveaway is just what my new kitchen needs…plus it’s Mother’s Day. Thanks for the chance to enter.
Make a lot of soup in the Dutch oven, and lasagna is always good.
Arrows con Pollo, made with her recipe! ?

For Mother’s Day I will be making Tuscan rosemary chili chicken on sourdough crustini.
